HCG was engaged to support the BIM Provider with a highly skilled Semiconductor MEP Modeling team. HCG’s responsibilities encompassed managing and modeling the entire subfab level and substantial portions of the utility level on behalf of the BIM provider. The project scope included the detailed modeling of all lighting fixtures, supports, and conduit at the LOD400 level.
A key aspect of this project was HCG’s emphasis on precise and efficient BIM and VDC practices. By operating with a lean team of 4-6 experts, HCG successfully navigated multiple project phases strategically. The team maintained stringent project standards, executed rigorous QAQC protocols, and ensured direct communication, resulting in highly constructible and practical construction models.
HCG actively participated in coordination efforts with the installing contractor, general contractor, and other project stakeholders, facilitating seamless integration and collaboration throughout the project’s lifecycle.
